While discussing Ronald Reagan's "moderate" stances compared to Donald Trump, Michael Reagan said:
"Today [the Republican Party] seems to be more of an angry party, you know? I'm sorry, but when Ann Coulter's your spokesman [Colmes laughs] on immigration [mumbles, stutters, and fails to complete sentence]."
Perhaps he meant to say...
"Today [the Republican Party] seems to be more of an angry party... when Ann Coulter's your spokesman [Colmes laughs] on immigration..."...but he did mumble at the end as if he couldn't actually think of a legitimate criticism of Ann, yet did not want to insult her (because an insult would make himself look stupid).
